Unlike regular tickets, group bookings are paid in stages. The schedule is set by the airline and it is strict — a late payment can release your seats. Here is what to expect.
A typical schedule
- Deposit — paid when you accept the quote, often within 24–72 hours.
- Balance — the rest of the fare, due a set number of days before departure.
- Name list — usually due around the same time as the balance.
- Ticketing — tickets are issued once both are in.
When the travel date is close, airlines may ask for full payment in one go.
How to pay
AirRJ accepts UPI, net banking, debit and credit cards, and bank transfer for larger corporate amounts. GST invoices are issued in the company's name when GST details are given at booking. See payment options for details.
Collecting money from a large group
- Set your own internal deadline at least three days before the airline's.
- Collect the full per-person amount upfront if you can, not just the deposit share.
- Keep one person responsible for payments and one for the name list.
- For schools and clubs, a simple payment receipt per person avoids disputes later.
What if a payment is late?
Call us before the deadline, not after. Sometimes a short extension is possible; once the airline has released the seats, it usually is not.
